Main Responsibilities:

  1. Manage new product introduction (NPI) for Wuxi plant to ensure NPI timely and effectively processed, to create and maintain engineering information for various manufacturing processes (Deployment in SAP, process cards, in-process prints, work instructions, etc.)
  2. Assist operations department with daily process & product problem solving. Strive to identify and correct the root cause of such problems instead of continuing to address the reoccurring issue. Assist other Timken plants/businesses as requested by manager.
  3. To participate and manage process improvement projects. Identify, prioritize, and execute opportunities for the improvement of quality, throughput, machine efficiency, labor productivity, cost, etc. Utilize fact based analysis, data mining, and lean-6-sigma skills to achieve this. Note: project work also includes the specification, selection, run-off, installation, and introduction of new processes & equipment. Measure projects to assure effectiveness during and after completion. Provide corrective action plans if projects are failing to perform as expected.
  4. Assure mfg and engineering processes are documented and understood to provide standard and consistent application of work methods and procedures (e.g.  maintain engineering data systems, operating manuals, training material, PM procedures, and engineering procedures).
  5. Interact with operations and quality department to assure conformance to all ISO requirements. Assure all processes being performed are within Timken and governmental policies, specifications, regulations, and laws. Keep company product and process information confidential and secure.
  6. Complete other task which is assigned by manager.


  1. bachelor degree or above;

  2. Computer skills (Office, UG and CAD );

  3. Have stronger basic Project management skills

  4. Good lean production knowledge and practice experience

  5. Good bearing manufacturing theoretical knowledge and practice experience

  6.  Excellent English &Chinese speaking and writing skills;
