As the Human Resources Manager for Brazil, you will play a key role in implementing and executing the HR strategy to support business growth and organizational transformation. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Executing and adapting regional and global HR strategies into locally relevant initiatives that enable business growth, strengthen organizational capabilities, and ensure cultural alignment.
- Leading the development and deployment of HR frameworks, policies, and processes across Brazil, using data and diagnostics to ensure consistency, operational excellence, and scalability.
- Driving talent strategy through strategic workforce planning, succession management, and the design of effective attraction, retention, and engagement initiatives.
- Ensuring proactive compliance with all Brazilian labor regulations and embedding Timken’s global ethics and compliance principles in every HR practice.
- Continuously monitoring labor market dynamics and leading compensation benchmarking to sustain competitive positioning and talent attraction.
- Partnering in the integration of acquired businesses by aligning culture, structure, policies, and people practices with Timken’s global standards, ensuring a seamless organizational transition.
- Overseeing core HR operations including payroll, benefits, performance management, and capability development, with a focus on business impact and employee experience.
- Fostering a strong, inclusive workplace culture through internal communication, employee engagement, and corporate social responsibility programs.
- Contributing to regional HR initiatives by sharing best practices, supporting cross-border projects, and driving collaborative success.
- Leading ongoing governance of HR compliance, audits, and internal controls to uphold the highest standards of integrity and accountability.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in Human Resources roles within international companies.
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior HR management position within multinational industrial or manufacturing environments, leading all core HR processes.
- Deep knowledge of Brazilian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead key HR functions including talent acquisition, employee and labor relations, training and development, payroll, performance management, compensation, organizational development, and HR strategy. Experience driving culture and engagement initiatives, supporting change management efforts, and leveraging HR analytics for informed decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and the ability to influence senior stakeholders, drive organizational change, and align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Fluent English is required (written and spoken).
