Position Purpose:
Develop a technical training standard and ensure that all production associates get trained to that standard using the appropriate TWI methodology; providing guidance and coordination to the technical trainers to ensure that training activities are followed through an associate’s career at the plant.
This person will also plan to align the training agenda with the operation needs and, assuring that Safety is First, giving enough time to the technical trainer to ensure the employees are trained run the machine free of accidents or risks. Standardize the training processes using TWI (Training Within Industries) methodology and the use of VKS (Visual Knowledge Share) toolset.

Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety is emphasized in all training modules as our highest priority.
- Setup, standardize and maintain the VKS software platform. Work with engineers and supervisors to create and enforce the standard for training materials.
- Train the operative trainers on proper use of the software and on how to properly train employees.
- Participate in any investigation related to Safety or quality concerns and ensure training materials are updated to identify risks and preventive actions.
- Provide feedback to process engineers and other owners of the existing TWIs to improve them.
- Standardize, maintain, and deploy the system used to document the work instructions by VKS.
- Track the training status of every associate on the plant and follow the training plan to align trained people with production needs. Work with HR to document training activities.
- Ensure training provided was fully learned and understood, since point of view for Safety, Quality & Efficiency.
- Keep all records for the trained operators.
- Perform annual evaluation to the current operators, ensuring they keep the knowledge and skill to perform the operation, where they are certified.
Education / Experience
Required – Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, or related with 1+ years’ of experience.
