Receiver Essential Responsibilities

  • Receive all inbound materials, process paperwork, and distribute items received adhering to the safety, quality, and quantity standards of Timken Aurora Bearing.
  • Unload trucks, verify parts and quantity with packing list.
  • Receive incoming packages from UPS, FedEx, and all other couriers. Deliver packages to the correct department and/or employee(s).
  • Process returned goods.
  • Check incoming materials for SDS forms utilizing SDS list or database.  Advise Supervisor of any incoming materials that are not on list or in the database and quarantine material for disposition.
  • Process paperwork, verifying purchase order, packing lists, items received and returned goods from customers.
  • Basic computer skills used for processing receivers.
  • Maintain Purchase Order and Work Order files.
  • Maintain pending inspection aisles.
  • Replenish and maintain office supplies for shop floor.

 

Receiver Qualifications & Experience​​​​​​

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary or trades / technical education and certifications preferred
  • Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of whole numbers. 

  • Material handling equipment; powered fork truck, powered pallet lifter, die cart/lifter, pallet lifter, two-wheel hand dolly, copying machine, computer. 

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to withstand extreme temperatures (heat and cold) due to a non-climate controlled facility
