PURPOSE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for receiving, recording movement of, and delivery of all incoming shipment to the facility. Responsible for receiving in all U.S. mail, FedEx, UPS, and other third party carrier shipments. Responsible for facilitating delivery of raw material and the shipment of outgoing raw material.
- This individual may generate and/or handle regulated (i.e. hazardous/non-hazardous) waste as part of this job. They must be disposed of in accordance with federal/state regulations
- Daily pick-up and distribution of U.S. and interoffice mail
- Responsible for receipt of all FedEx, UPS, and other third-party deliveries
- Responsible for receipt of raw material deliveries
- Verify packing slip vs. PO, receive into system, and deliver to internal area/customer
- Conduct inventory and cycle counts in crib area, ongoing as needed
- Physical and systematic movement of raw material within the area.
- Operates any material handling equipment as needed.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Math, mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and understand prints, process sheets, and engineering specifications.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Ability to sit or stand in one position for a period of time. Ability to carry parts from assigned areas to the work station.
- Dexterity of hands, some repetitive motions
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to read and understand process sheets, prints, PO's, etc
- Knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of Team Center
