Rollon Coporation is seeking an experienced Buyer to join its team. The Buyer is responsible for sourcing and procurement functions directly associated with the company's needs for direct and indirect materials, services, and fixed assets. All products and services are to be secured with cost, quality, reliability and capability to deliver, consistent with company policy and performance standards.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Monitor inventory levels and identify purchasing needs
  • Initiate purchase orders and change orders, confirm pricing and delivery terms of transactions
  • Secure and analyzes quotations
  • Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers
  • Locate and develops new suppliers
  • Nurture relationships with existing suppliers
  • Coordinate with various staff regarding planning parameters and schedules
  • Coordinate with engineering and quality regarding specifications and quality issues
  • Implement sourcing related directives from management
  • Generate reports from AX and other systems

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required; Concentration in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or Supply Chain is preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience is required
  • MS Office proficiency


Position Info:

  • This is a newly added position due to company growth
  • Hours are Mon-Fri, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST
  • We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; 4 days in office, 1 day from home. Work from home will be available after all training has been completed.
  • Casual business attire
