Location: Timken Mounted Bearings, Ferndale, WA.

Job Type: Full-Time.

Shift: Day Shift.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, approximately 8am-4:30pm.

Pay Range: $20.00-$25.00/hr DOE.

 

Position Summary:

The primary role of this position is to support Timken Mounted Bearings with coordination and tracking of required tasks and trainings, as well as provide support functions for the business. This position will provide operational and logistical support, under the direction of the HR Manager.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

•    Track and record employee training including Timken University requirements, as well as on-the-job training.
•    Work closely with the Quality Team on required trainings and documentation within the quality management system. 
•    Issue, order, track, and troubleshoot any issues with security badges for employees, contingents, and visitors.
•    Receive visitors at the Main Entrance, check them in, and notify appropriate contacts.
•    Track, report, and issue monthly Paid Time Off Statements for all hourly employees on a monthly basis.
•    Update physical and digital Communication Boards. Physical boards to be updated as needed; Digital TVs to be updated minimum on a weekly basis.
•    Verify, pull, and report contingent hours from timekeeping system for contract agencies on a weekly basis.
•    Enter corrections for timeclock errors in timekeeping system; forwarding documentation for Payroll communication.
•    Administer and track voucher program for safety boots and prescription eyewear.
•    Collect and distribute mail on a daily basis.
•    Administer, issue, and track Our Thanks card distributions on a weekly basis. 
•    Conduct phone interviews of qualified candidates for select requisitions.
•    Provide support and assistance for United Way campaign on a yearly basis.
•    Provide support and assistance for the planning, set up, and execution of employee events such as large meetings/training and celebrations.
•    Perform miscellaneous job related duties as assigned.    

 

Basic Qualifications:

HS Diploma or equivalent w/ at least 3yrs of HR experience.

Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT).

Ability to operate with high amount of confidentiality & professionalism.
