Location: Timken Mounted Bearings, Ferndale, WA.

Job Type: Full-Time.

Shift: Day Shift

Schedule: Mon-Fri, approximately 8am-4:30pm

Pay Range: $24.00-$29.00/hr DOE

Position Summary:

The Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting operational and business needs across functional teams by providing data-driven business intelligence and serving as a database and SAP subject matter expert. The starting wage for this position is commensurate with experience and transferable skills and abilities.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain business intelligence reports, dashboards, and analytics to support operational decision-making across business units, plants, and functions using data extraction, data transformation, custom queries, and schedule building.
  • Utilize expert-level knowledge of SQL and database management to enhance operations tracking and reporting of key performance indicators.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency within systems by monitoring, analyzing, and validating data across platforms.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements through technology and automation, working closely with stakeholders to implement best practices.
  • Act as a liaison within operations and other departments to translate business needs into technical solutions and ensure seamless communication.
  • Provide expert-level support for SAP functionalities, ensuring optimal system performance, troubleshooting issues, and facilitating user training.
  • Collaborate with local and corporate IT and operations/business teams to support the implementation and rollout of WHQ-led systems and projects.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent and 3-5yrs SQL or database management software experience.
  • Strong proficiency in business intelligence tools (Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Service, SAP BI, or similar).
  • Experience in VBA programming and its applications in various business contexts, particularly in automating tasks and enhancing productivity within Microsoft Office environment.
