Purpose of Position

The Human Resources Analyst will provide HR support for Timken Argentina, Timken Colombia and Timken de Mexico. Areas of focus will include:

  • Talent and Performance Management
  • Talent Acquisition/Recruiting
  • Total Rewards, including Compensation and Benefits
  • Associate and Labor Relations
  • Workplace Safety

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of recruitment and onboarding for top talent into the organization, providing a positive candidate experience during internal and external recruiting efforts.
  • Serve as HR Systems (MySuccess) expert and data management administrator. Process HR related transactions along with responsibility for HR reporting.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures by maintaining current knowledge of employment law, best practices and sharing knowledge amongst team members. Provide effective communication with all levels of associate population.
  • Support the development and implementation of the performance management process for the workforce to ensure development of talent and address performance issues. Assist managers with Succession Planning for key positions.
  • Support training strategy to provide and maintain a suitably skilled and well-motivated workforce, help identify talent needs and development gaps and provide training and development programs for employees.
  • Comply with corporate Total Rewards strategy (compensation and benefits) and advise the
  • corporate function on local practices and changes in labor market, in order to attract and retain the most highly talented associates.
  • Collaborate with corporate HR function to execute the function’s HR needs with maximum efficiency, leverage and alignment.
  • Performs other HR related duties as required and assigned.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field with 4+ years of previous HR Generalist experience, including knowledge of local labor laws
  • Proficient in both the spoken and written English language
  • Highly organized and process-oriented
  • Strong PC skills (MS Office and use of HRIS applications)
  • Ability to operate with high amount of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Experience with payroll systems.
