Wazee Crane, a division of Timken Power Systems, has an opening for a Crane Service Supervisor at the Broomfield, CO site.  The role of the Crane Service Supervisor is to lead the crane service function and manage operations. This position communicates directly with customers and provides technical leadership and expertise across the customer base and within the Crane organization. This position reports to the Business Manager, Wazee Crane.


Essential Responsibilities


  • Manage service jobs and projects, special projects (ex: onsite crane modifications), parts coordination, and scheduling of service calls
  • Manage the Service Technicians’ schedules and communicate changes
  • Partner with senior leadership to create and achieve sales and financial performance goals
  • Support start-up and load-testing training and responsibilities for the Crane Manufacturing division
  • Manage service quotes and communicate changes in job timelines and pricing
  • Foster existing business relationships and identify new opportunities for the business
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure financial, quality, and engineering requirements are met and work with sales to facilitate quotes and timely follow-up
  • Coordinate timely orders of materials to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct, coordinate, or oversee the effective training of crane service technicians on repairs and inspections
  • Coordinate site access, fleet, rental equipment, and training requirements


Minimum Qualifications:


  • 5 years of supervisory/management or team leadership experience
  • 5 years of industrial maintenance experience (or 10 years without Bachelor’s degree)
  • 5 years of experience in customer-facing service or sales
  • 5 years of experience as a crane service technician, preferred
  • Experience providing accurate and timely project estimates, quote creations, tracking, and support
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Effective and professional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Confident speaking to/with a variety of audiences
  • Proven ability to prioritize and meet both rapidly changing and long lead time deadlines
  • Strong systematic and organizational mindset
  • Demonstrated problem solving and multi-tasking ability
  • Bachelors Degree; Business/Administration, Finance, or Manufacturing/Operations preferred
  • Good driving record; Valid driver’s license
  • Available to accommodate customer needs and emergencies. This may include nights, weekends, and holidays.


The yearly compensation for this role is $73,000 - $86,500, is commensurate on experience and education, and could pay more or less than the posted range. This full-time position is eligible to participate in the company’s short-term incentive program, paid time off plan, 401k, and comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.  Qualified candidates can apply for this position by clicking on the link located in the job posting at
