Qualification: Post Graduation in HR 

  • Minimum 14+ years of experience in handling end-to-end Comp & Ben Activities, payroll, Mediclaim insurance, incentives, HRMS, Payroll Mgmt, HR systems design and implementation
  • Experience in job evaluation tools and salary benchmarking exercise
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for overall driving total rewards policies & procedures, HR operations in-line with global compensation philosophy & local framework for Timken India.
  2. Responsible for review & documentation of existing HR policies, grade structures, rewards policies, on a regular basis in collaboration with HR team for effective communication and implementation of the same in collaboration with General Manager HR. 
  3. Responsible for alignment and updation of Timken India master data in collaboration with HR stakeholders (Domestic & Global) for ensuring accurate employee information pertaining to employee master data, employee costs & benefits administration and proactively escalate process / alignment gaps with recommendations to General Manager HR. 
  4. Responsible for documentation, updation & effective communication of HR Policies through close working collaboration HR team and General Manager HR. 
  5. Responsible for designing & driving Comp & Ben benchmarking exercise, in collaboration with HR Business Partners / Plant HRs and provide detail insights & recommendations to General Manager HR.
  6. Responsible for negotiation and administration of Group Mediclaim insurance renewals, claims in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and provide quarterly insights on service, usage trend post discussing with HR Business partners / Plant HRs for proactive decision making and implementation.
  7. Responsible for driving increment / STI calculation in collaboration with internal stakeholders & arrive at recommendations for implementation.
  8. Responsible for driving the increment process / Mid-term promotions process in close collaborations with HR business partners / Plant HR in designing, analyzing salary benchmarking exercise, increments and provide recommendations with detail insights to General Manager HR for accordance and implementation.
  9. Drive internal / external audits on statutory compliance, HR process (in-line with policy & SLA) and provide timely inputs to General Manager HR in ensuring complete confidentiality on the audit proceedings & observations related to HR policy and process.
  10. Champion and articulate logical and systematic improvements in HR and recommend the same to General Manager HR for effective implementation in collaboration with HR team / process owners in India on prevailing HR process and systems (usage) pertaining to total rewards, HR operations (Onboarding to Exit) for enhancing employee connect and improving internal HR process efficiency.
  11. Responsible for updating & providing HR dashboard based on inputs and frequency as discussed & agreed with General Manager HR.
  12. Enable team members to perform better by providing timely feedback, conducting structured performance development reviews and setting clear expectations (Goals / KRAs) and provide need-based support.
  13. Ensure continuous development of team members and ensure they are appropriately motivated to carry out their required deliverables. Stay up to date with later market / industry trends related to best practices / industry trends which enable to drive performance work culture through effective rewards & recognition practices.
  14. Continuously benchmark on industry practices on total rewards initiatives (Companies / Specialists) / Insurance benefits (Insurance specialists) / statutory / compliance updates (Consultants) and provide recommendations.

 

Other projects and tasks will be assigned to the role holder based on business need.
