Job Type: Full-Time.
Shift: Afternoon Shift.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM.
Pay Range: $20.49 to $22.03 per hour.

Position Summary:
The Quench Press Operator in the Heat Treat department is responsible for operating and maintaining quench press equipment to ensure the effective heat treatment of components used in bearing manufacturing. This role involves setting up equipment, monitoring processes, and conducting quality inspections to produce high-quality parts that meet precise specifications. The operator will follow established safety protocols, preventive maintenance schedules, and company policies while working in compliance with ISO standards. Additionally, the position requires maintaining accurate records, coordinating with production schedules, and contributing to a clean, organized, and safe work environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate quench press equipment using appropriate tools, fixtures, dies, and fork sizes.
- Perform necessary preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Record information, including part numbers, measurement data, and quality inspection results, into daily logs.
- Ensure all required documentation is accurate, available, and properly completed.
- Monitor oil temperatures for the oil seal daily and ensure they are within acceptable ranges.
- Inspect all oil temperatures as part of routine checks.
- Assist in unloading baskets after component processing.
- Locate parts to run in accordance with the published schedule.
- Operate machinery daily to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely.
- Adhere to ISO guidelines and utilize required computer system functions appropriately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
- Ensure all safety requirements are consistently met.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Must be eligible to work in the US.
- Must be willing to work required overtime.

- Strong mechanical skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
