We have an opportunity at our Montgomery, IL location for a Production Scheduler.  This role will schedule the progress of rod-end and spherical bearing products and components through the manufacturing sequence to secure maximum efficiency to meet production time schedules.  

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Review system information to formulate delivery dates for bearing components and finished units.
  • Utilize the scheduling system, AVANTE, to process reports and create work orders.
  • Prepare vendor purchase order delivery dates utilizing the system information.
  • Independently create, maintain and process reports for the different product groups.
  • Evaluate and expedite finished components and finished units within manufacturing.
  • Work cross functionally with other departments to drive schedule priorities to meet customer requirements.
  • Review and evaluate engineering drawings and database information as it pertains to substitution of products.
  • Coordinate the machining schedule with the manufacturing supervisors to meet customer requirements and follow up on part movement from work centers.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred associate degree in a related field.
  • At least one year of manufacturing process knowledge.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to muti-task.
  • Ability to work through situations in a calm and data driven mentality.
  • Self-accountability to meet deadlines.
  • Comfort in working and communicating with plant senior leadership team.
