Position Summary:

The Timken Distribution Center is currently seeking flex workers for its facility located in Duncan, SC.  Hours and shifts are flexible – up to 28 hours per week. A successful flex worker values safety, accuracy, teamwork, and customer service.  The employee will support all functions within the warehouse.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Use hand-held scanner to scan and move packages.

• Match up customer orders for palletization and banding; verifying details, ensuring correct labeling and label positions.

• Weigh product to ensure accuracy prior to shipping.

• Move material and product using appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jack, crane hoist) to and from conveyors, pallets, docks, storage areas and workstations. 

• Load / unload material to / from shipping carriers.

• Pick specified product from locations.

• Check requested locations to verify inventory.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Must be eligible to work in the US.

• Must speak fluent english.

• The employee must regularly lift / move up to 30 lbs.
