Purpose:  

This role handles all service requests in front of the customers which are related to PTTech LLC products, services, sales, quality and maintenance.   

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a presence and ever improving relationship with major customers through a regular schedule of service calls and rapid response to requests for assistance with quality and/or performance problems.
  • Utilizes Service Engineering experience to provide superior service to customers and be considered as a industry leader by within region. Supports and train peers with acquired knowledge from previous experience.
  • Instructing and training customers in all aspects of all PTTech products and services. Proper installation, maintenance and damage diagnosis /prevention practices and to advise/report on any situation which may give rise to product liability concerns.
  • Rendering technical assistance with specific aspects of PTTech application development in support of business renewal with appropriate coordination with and through sales engineers.
  • Timely reporting of all customer (and distributor) service related activity (includes performance issues, quality complaints, trends competitor activity, new applications, repair opportunities, etc.).
  • Providing any or all of the aforementioned services to specific customers outside of assigned territory on an emergency basis and effectively coordinate responses and corrective actions across business segments and geographic regions 

 

Experience and Education:

  • Specialized skills and prior work experience to find and transport technical issues / claims / solutions between customer, production, application engineering, quality management
  • Technical training in repair, custom automotive, engineering

Established relationship with customer base preferred:

  • McCloskey 
  • Terex
  • Sandvik
