PT Tech, a Timken subsidiary located in Wadsworth, Ohio is seeking a Warehouse Worker to perform an array of functions including but not limited to receiving stock, picking stock, packaging, and shipping internal and external customer orders, managing, and organizing stock in the warehouse. This position is located at PT Tech, a Timken Subsidiary located in Wadsworth, Ohio,
Key Responsibilities:
- Picks, packages, schedules, and prepares orders and paperwork for shipment to vendors or customers.
- Load inventory onto trucks for customer delivery utilizing hand, cart, fork truck, or pallet jack.
- Labeling and accurate processing of orders.
- Identify and advise Shipping lead of shipping issues and provide ideas for resolution.
- Work to assist on scheduled truck loads.
- Compares quantities packed and shipped within SAP for accuracy.
- Working knowledge of SAP functions for related job level
- Participate in annual physical inventory.
- Perform simple packaging and shipping functions independently.
- Liaison between Shipping/Receiving and other departments pertaining to material shipped, production paperwork, and sales paperwork.
- Notifies management of unsafe working conditions or practices in an out of assigned work area
- Follows established work practices and procedures to ensure quality while following applicable ISO processes and work instructions.
- Adheres to all policies and procedures in Timken Employee Handbook
- Keeps assigned work area clean, neat, and well organized.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma.
SAP experience preferred.
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse work.
Valid drivers' license, experience driving box truck a plus.
