Position Summary:
The position is responsible for handling materials to unload, store, and issue inventory. The role also ensures accurate completion of inventory control documentation to maintain inventory accuracy.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Removal and dumping of chip tubs, grind swarf, and sludge tanks; return empty tubs to machines.
- Store incoming materials.
- Deliver inventory to manufacturing and inspection departments.
- Assign locations and store inventory.
- Pull inventory and stage items.
- Deliver inventory to appropriate areas.
- Ensure accurate completion of documentation.
- Unload incoming trucks and stage inventory in specified locations.
- Review and sign packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Notify supervision of damaged material or discrepant counts.
- Deliver paperwork to the receiving office.
- Deliver MRO items.
- Perform weekly cycle counts.
- Receive cycle count schedules from the team leader, locate each item, and perform the actual count.
- Resolve discrepancies outside specified limits.
- Return the completed listing to the team leader for approval.
- Participate in the month-end weigh-back procedure.
- Store, control, and deliver items to requesting departments.
- Locate and store incoming materials.
- Pull materials based on requisitions and deliver them to the appropriate location.
- Relocate all returned material.
- Ensure all inventory control documents are complete and accurate.
Basic Qualifications:
- 18 year of age or older.
- Must be eligible to work in the US.
- Must be willing to work overtime.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Ability to demonstrate good communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Ability to operate material-handling equipment.
