The Inside Sales & Security Compliance Manager oversees the Customer Service/Inside Sales Team, Export Compliance & Duty Drawback, and Security Compliance related to Defense Contractor regulation. Responsibilities include:
Inside Sales/Customer Service:
- Manages a team of 7 customer service representatives, including training, development, tracking of key metrics; facilitates continuous improvement activity within direct function & related functions of the business
- Order & Quote Management – Manages daily priorities for quote & order processing, ensures throughput, reviews & approves limits of authority, cancellations, credits, etc.
- Contract Review & Negotiation – Manages comprehensive contract reviews, PO’s, exceptions, terms & conditions, special clauses, and customer specifications
- Project Management – Acts as project manager for key customer/large accounts
- Customer & Territory Sales Relations - Acts as primary liaison with customers on conflict resolution, open orders, adjustments, lead time adjustments, etc.
Security Compliance:
- Represents Cone Drive in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security procedures covering the safeguarding of controlled technical data (CTD), including controlled unclassified information, as required at their local facility and any designated locations. Assures that the facilities comply with the regulations governing controlled unclassified information and with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) regulations governing classified information.
- Administers day-to-day security programs in coordination with the Drives Systems & Services Facility Security Officer: program reviews, document control system(s) including receipt/dissemination/destruction of physical documents, maintaining physical mail logs (as applicable), audits & self-inspections, investigative reviews & reports, manage incoming and outgoing visit requests, and access to restricted areas of the facilities, and to assure that assets containing CTD are secured
Export Compliance & Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensures Company compliance with export regulations (ITAR, EAR99, etc.), export shipping documentation, duty drawback, conflict minerals, end use approvals, etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education & experience
- 10 to 12 years related experience in inside sales & customer service; manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong understanding of business processes & commercial activity
- Knowledge of federal regulations pertaining to export compliance and security
- Excellent communication & organizational skills
- Strong customer interface skills & problem solving
- Ability to lead a team to excellent results with a focus on continuous improvement
This position may require access to United States export controlled technical data (“CTD”) and hardware under the Departments of US State (ITAR) and/or Commerce (EAR). Eligible candidates are; US Citizens, Green Card holders, Asylees or others eligible to receive US export license authorizations. Candidate must be authorized to work in the US.
