Position Summary
The Tube Runner supports manufacturing operations by locating, preparing, issuing, and delivering tube materials to production cells while maintaining inventory accuracy, safety, and production flow.
Shifts Available
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:30pm - 11:40pm (overtime required based on business need)
The position will be a Warehouse Entry in a union environment with an opportunity to grow and learn. The current hourly rate is $21.09 with an additional $1.23 shift differential for 2nd shift.
Job Duties include:
- Review production schedules, work orders, and travelers to identify material requirements.
- Retrieve, verify, and document material information including quantity, location, and batch details.
- Organize and maintain travelers by production cell and job status.
- Identify and communicate material shortages or inventory discrepancies.
- Cut and prepare tube materials according to work-order requirements.
- Perform quality checks on materials before release to production.
- Deliver and stage materials in designated production cells.
- Complete SAP material issue transactions accurately.
- Maintain production documentation and material traceability.
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 35 pound lifting limit
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Basic computer skills; ability to read work orders and production documents
- Preferred experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production support
