We are seeking a CAD Technologist to create and maintain manufacturing drawings in a dynamic production facility. You will collaborate with engineers, technologists, and operation personnel to translate design concepts and operational requirements into detailed technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain Inventor/AutoCAD drawing files, customer supplied drawings and parts system libraries
- Maintain and update drawing filing system – Autodesk Vault (PDM)
- Assist in the development/maintaining of drafting standards
- Check new drawings and documentation when required and ensure correctness and conformance to the latest ISO specifications.
- Requisition material by providing accurate and timely sketches and specifications for long lead time raw materials and purchased goods.
- Preparation of production related information including Drawing Release, Material Requisitions, Profile Point Data etc.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of drafting technical and time standards
- Troubleshoot problems with workflow, drawing specifications and layout.

- Reverse engineering of parts
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 Years of Proficient Inventor/AutoCAD Experience
- CAD Technologist Diploma
- Microsoft Office Suite literacy
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor
- Knowledge of the use of Coordinate Measuring Machines/Tools will be considered an asset

- Capability to work with moderate supervision in a fast paced environment
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to organize and facilitate multiple projects in an accurate timely manner.
