Senior Manufacturing Engineer 

Senior Manufacturing Engineer responsible for facilitating new product launches and product transfers for the Timken Shiloh facility.  This person works with external functional areas including Product and Program Management, AE and Design Engineering, and Supplier Assurance, as well as plant functional areas.

Location: Timken, Rutherfordton, NC

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure proper flow-down of product requirements.
  • Ensure DFM considerations are incorporated prior to plant deployment.
  • Ensure safe launch protocols are followed.
  • Communicate timing of critical path launches including both NPI and product transfers from other facilities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BSME or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in project management.
  • Technical skills in product drawing and specification interpretation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skillset.
