Located in Romania, the job holder will be responsible for:
• Create best overall design solutions that meet customer needs, Timken financials and manufacturing requirements.
• Perform all engineering analysis and testing required to validate designs.
• Complete documentation of designs including drawings, databases, analysis and testing.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and conformance to Timken engineering standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and conformance to Timken quality systems.
Candidates for this position should meet the following criteria:
• Mechanical engineering degree or related.
• 1-2 years of working experience in Product Design, Design for Manufacturability - would be an advantage.
• Formally trained and demonstrated understanding of product design related disciplines.
• Good English skills – both written and oral.
• Good computer skills & proven experience in working with CAD systems (e.g. UG, ProE, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn quickly, flexible and adaptable.
