The Senior Millwright is responsible for high level assembly and installation of new and existing equipment at our plant and at customer facilities. This role follows all plant safety and production quality controls.
*First Shift - 7:00am - 3:00pm EST
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Verify conformance of parts to Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering drawings.
- Assemble machines in accordance with BOMs and technical drawings.
- Assemble pneumatic and hydraulic circuits from detailed schematics.
- Verify machine motion, alignment, and precision.
- Operate precision laser equipment for leveling and assembling components and structures.
- Prepare job sites for equipment installation.
- Interact professionally with other departments, customers, and suppliers.
- Utilize forklifts and Aerial person lifts safely and effectively.
- Demonstrate proper use of rigging equipment, including shackles, straps, chains, and hoists.
- Work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Minimum qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Ability to pass a background check and medical check.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Proficient use of hand tools.
- Experience using manual machining tools such as mills, lathes, bandsaws, and grinders.
- Ability to read and use precision measuring devices.
- Ability to read electrical and pneumatic drawings.
- Experience installing and wiring robotic controls and sub-assemblies.
- Ability to assemble pneumatic and hydraulic circuits from drawings.
- Knowledge of laser alignment equipment
