Purpose

The Millwright is responsible for assembly and installation of new or existing equipment. Follows all plant safety and production quality protocols.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Verifies conformance of parts to bill of material and drawings
  • Assemble machines from bill of material and drawings
  • Assembling pneumatic and hydraulic circuits from drawings
  • Verify machine motion and precision
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Skilled use of forklifts and scissor lifts required
  • Understanding of proper use of rigging equipment (shackles, straps, chains, hoists, etc.)
  • Ability to interact professionally with other departments

 

Technical/Functional Skills

  • Ability to read mechanical drawings
  • Use of hand tools
  • Use of manual machining tools such as mill, lathe, bandsaw, grinder, etc.
  • Capable of reading measuring devices and drawings

 

Basic Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • Applicant must be able to stand for long periods of time climb, lift up to 50 pounds, and use hands for gripping
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship - no sponsorship is available for this position
