Job Type: Full-Time 

Shift: Day shift

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday 5a-1p; Sat. - OT as needed

Pay: $31.00 per hour. Starting pay may vary based on experience.

Position Summary:
Timken is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Operator to join our team. This position exists to support facilities, production equipment and gauging systems in the New Philadelphia Bearing plant. It is to implement and support continuous improvement and process enhancement projects, and to trouble shoot and repair mechanical & electrical problems, maintain and calibrate gages, implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs, and maintain facility systems & infrastructure.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsible for supporting production machine uptime and repair.  Responsible for determining OE and replacement part requirements.  Responsible for maintaining current calibration schedules on product gauges.  Responsible for supporting and maintaining facility systems.  Responsible for adhering to all safety requirements, and proactive apporach towards equipment compliance.

 

Basic Qualifications: 
•    Associate of Electrical / Mechanical Engr.
•    18 years of age of older
•    Must be eligible to work in the US

 

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
•    5 or more years of Maintenance experience, spec. in electrical
•    Strong reading, comprehension, and attention to detail
•    Solid communication, teamwork, and organization
•    Mechanical knowledge
•    Problem-solving 
•    Advanced shop math
•    Aptitude for reading gauges
•    Basic computer skills, including webpage navigation

 

This position may require access to United States export controlled technical data (“CTD”) and hardware under the Departments of US State (ITAR) and/or Commerce (EAR).  Eligible candidates are; US Citizens, Green Card holders, Asylees or others eligible to receive US export license authorizations. Candidate must be authorized to work in the US.
