Job Title: Receiving and Shipping Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented shipping and receiving associate to support daily warehouse operations for the assembly and distribution of lubrication pump systems. This role is responsible for receiving new materials and components accurately identifying and storing inventory, and preparing finished lubrication pumps and related equipment for outbound shipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory control, palletized freight, and common carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight providers. This position plays a key role in ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant handling of materials, components, and finished products within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including scheduling, staging, loading and unloading trucks, and safely handling palletized components.
  • Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance with purchase orders, bills of lading, and shipping documentation; report discrepancies promptly.
  • Receiving, label, and store new materials, components, and finished goods in designated locations while maintaining accurate inventory records and following OSHA and company safety procedures.
  • Prepare shipping documents, bills of lading, and necessary compliance paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines, during all warehouse activities.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed
  • Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and handling of products to prevent damage.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipping & receiving activities using SAP.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2-4 years warehouse, logistics, or shipping and receiving experience.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, SAP preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook).
  • Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, bills of lading, and packing list.
  • Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization abilities.

Other

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain is required.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and warehouse best practices preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, or weekends if needed.
