Purpose:

This position exists to ensure that disassembly of bearings meet or exceeds quality expectations.  Primary job duties are to assure bearing serial number and part number match numbers on router. Perform identification preservation, disassemble per work instruction and report all work correctly.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing bearings for disassembly
• Proper set-up of drill presses and roller pullers including all adjustments
• Disassembly of bearings to specifications
• Follow specific work instructions
• Verification of bearings to work instruction
• Identification of all parts leaving the department
• Maintain cleanliness of department
• Communicate work scope with auditors
• Maintenance - Monitor, clean and inspect equipment to prevent problems before they occur, tied with routine maintenance of equipment and troubleshooting problems of minor to moderate complexity
• May assist in other areas not described as we flex associates to busy areas if their work slows
• Safety and attention to detail to prevent injury to self and other

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 

• High School-Grad equivalent of general  diploma
• Demonstrated mechanical ability
• Basic math
• Experience or aptitude for  data entry
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Problem Solving
• Self-motivated team player

Pay Range: $22 - $25
