Purpose & Scope:
Support manufacturing and production planners by assisting with work center and assembly scheduling, part expediting, and verification of WIP status to ensure schedule attainment and On Time Delivery (OTD). Compile production packets for HALB and FERT orders, process Stop Works/OSMI identification, create POs and RMAs for outsource operations, and communicate with suppliers and WHQ for expediting. Maintain daily production and delivery metrics and support TECO activities to ensure accurate production control and timely deliveries.
Core Functions:
- Support the review process of work centers and/or assembly to ensure schedule attainment.
- Process Stop Works and identify OSMI product.
- Verify WIP status and locations.
- Compile production packets for both HALB and FERT orders.
- Provide and follow-up on delivery information as needed to planning team.
- Create PO’s for outsource operations and RMA’s as needed.
- Clearly and professionally communicate with suppliers for outsource operations as well as WHQ contacts for supplier expedites.
- Update and maintain daily metrics (Pack/Sales/OTDp/Past Due).
- Support TECO process.
- This individual may generate and/or handle regulated (i.e. hazardous/non-hazardous) waste as part of this job. This must be disposed of in accordance with federal/state regulations.
General Qualifications & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or related technical field preferred.
- APICS Certification preferred.
- Manufacturing experience or production knowledge of Lebanon products preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong technical proficiency required with ERP systems (SAP, JDE, Oracle or equivalent).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to managing multiple tasks and competing priorities with strong attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
- Use both near/far vision and hearing. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Requires prolonged periods of sitting and/or walking frequently.
