Position Summary:

Selected intern may work with a cross-functional team to complete projects and/or tasks revolving system qualification and improvement. 

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Complete updates to procedures and work instructions and convert to OnBase system. 
  • Responsible for executing scrap analysis and reduction projects.
  • Process quality audits.
  • Coach shop floor on quality topics.
  • Collaborate with team members and management to achieve department goals. 
  • Follows all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college with a major in: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Information Systems/Information Technology
  • Must have completed and received a High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to act independently and manage projects from initiation to completion
  • Ability to operate with high amount of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Proficient computer skills
