Position: EHS Technician - PHWP

 

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable part-time EHS Technician to join our Timken - Professional Experience Program. This role Provide hands‑on support for safety, environmental, and health initiatives by monitoring compliance, documenting findings, and coordinating corrective actions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sustain Energy Isolation List completion process.
  • Conduct daily ISO 14001 Gemba walks.
  • Streamline environmental and safety data systems (Gensuite, WAST, Critical Point Gemba).
  • Support EHS training programs and employee engagement.
  • Support recycling and universal waste programs.
  • Assist with site safety initiatives
  • Support continuous improvement of EHS compliance and operational processes
  • Converting PowerPoint training to recording for TU submissions
  • Assignment of Gensuite Tasks as experience level increase

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or technical school (undergraduate or relevant post-secondary programs)
  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
  • Ability to commit to the program schedule and comply with safety and confidentiality requirements. 
  • Proven experience in technical training, instructional design, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
