What we do
Join IMECH at an exciting moment of growth — we’re rolling out Plasma Transfer Arc (PTA) cladding technology and need careful, detail-driven technicians to prepare parts for precision surface enhancement. As a PTA Prep Technician you’ll play a critical role in the process by tacking tiles, learning the process, and following strict procedures to ensure every component meets exacting standards before PTA application. We value a “do it right the first time” attitude: your accuracy and adherence to work instructions reduce rework, protect downstream processes, and directly impact product quality. If you take pride in precision, thrive on repeatable workmanship, and want to grow with a team investing in advanced coating technology, IMECH offers hands-on training, clear advancement paths, and a collaborative environment where your care makes a measurable difference.
What will you do? Your day to day success is determined by your ability to:

- Perform quality checks using inspection techniques to verify thickness, adhesion, and appearance.
- Communicate quality issues and non-conformances to management promptly.
- Use various measuring tools to ensure conformity to visual and dimensional specifications.
