As a CNC Machinist you’ll play a critical role in the process by finish machining through turning and milling and following strict procedures to ensure every component meets exacting standards before the next application step. ROLE: CNC Machining - 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm M-F, with OT opportunities)
What will you do? Your day to day success is determined by your ability to:
- Stay safe each and every day!
- Operate CNC lathe and mill to produce quality machined products.
- Read and understand blueprint drawings for specifications.
- Clean machines, tooling and part, and maintain machines.
- Set up and operate CNC machines.
- Document, record, track your work.
- Continuously learn and assist in developing new techniques for new products.
- Self-inspect work as well as work coming into your process.
- Communicate with team, leaders, and management.
- Grow, learn, advance in skill and take on new duties.
With Quality in mind, you also bring the following:
- High School Diploma or GED and must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Experience or training in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in operation of turning machine and machine tool programs.
- Understanding of CNC Lathe and/or mill operation
- Ability to use hand tools, precision measuring instruments, machining tools
- Knowledge in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
- Excellent team skills; collaborative, open-minded, adaptable.
- Motivation to self-advance and grow within the company.
- Passion in delivering accuracy and quality as a priority
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds or more.
- Prolonged standing and walking.
- Repetitive movement, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
