Looking for an experienced dynamic Treasury Manager, located in Gorinchem, the Netherlands, who will report directly to our VP Finance for Groeneveld-BEKA group, with a dotted line reporting relationship with WHQ Treasury and will be responsible for managing and executing treasury strategies, operations and policies, including overseeing liquidity, cash flow management, intercompany settlement, borrowing and foreign exchange management, along with taking actions to mitigate the effects of financial risk.

 

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Manage treasury strategy and processes : in conjunction with headquarters, implement and support the development of group treasury strategies and procedures for applicable subsidiaries (primarily European). Includes implementing treasury management systems, financial risk management strategies and managing bank relationships.
  • Manage cash flow and daily cash function: assist in monitoring bank balances and reconcile cash positions. Manage and execute intercompany netting and payments. Opening, closing and administration of bank accounts and authorized signatures. Ensuring and monitoring adequate cash flow for all companies managed. Forecast sources and uses for cash. Ensure financial needs are met through intercompany loans or external financing. Managing external debt under the company’s Timken Senior Credit Facility for activity (borrowing, repayment, servicing) facing European and other lower tier subsidiaries.  Managing cash investments to ensure principal safety, liquidity and returns.
  • Manage financial risk: assist in development and management of hedging strategy to protect against foreign currency fluctuations. Participating in planning, budgeting or forecasting activities for financial purposes.
  • Entity management activities: provide oversight management of investments and risks of TEBV and assist with organizing board meetings.
  • Manage M&A activities: due diligence, acquisition structuring and financing.
  • Manage cash pooling initiatives: assist in developing strategy for effective global cash pooling strategy for the Company and its subsidiaries. In conjunction with cash pooling, will also work on identifying and executing cash mobility and repatriation opportunities

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree  or Master’s degree, specified in Accounting, Finance or MBA.
  • Treasury experience in industry including technical knowledge, in particular European Activity and experience with U.S. multinational entities.
  • Experience with statutory and US GAAP and SEC regulations required, as well as experience. with software programs such as SAP and Treasury Management Systems (Kyriba, GTreasury, or others).
