Location: Timken Mounted Bearings, Ferndale, WA.
Job Type: Full-Time.
Shift: Day Shift.
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8hr assigned shift between 7am-5pm
Pay Range: Targeted Starting Salary $54,000 - $59,000; Full pay scale: $49,000 - $68,000

Position Summary:

The Accounting Representative will assist with daily accounting department duties such as accounts payable, asset management, material costing deployment, and KPI data collection for the business. The Accounting Representative ensures timely invoice processing and coding accuracy in monthly cost center budget tracking. The position reports to the Plant Controller and is an on-site role.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Process Accounts Payable invoices to appropriate plant cost centers and monitor cost center performance against budget.
  • Post the monthly cycle count and annual physical inventory count results as needed.
  • Prepare the inventory accuracy reporting for plant management to review and approve.
  • Assist SAP (ERP system) material create and deployment workflow in corresponding views for the business unit.
  • Support material deployment costing to prepare for the annual costing run.
  • Prepare required reports and Key Performance Indicator’s data entry as needed.  
  • Utilize SAP and other systems to gather data to support other department reporting on a monthly basis.
  • Support finance team for various tasks assigned.
     

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Accounting required; Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred.
  • 1-3 years experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
