IMECH engineers and manufactures radial bearings, thrust bearings, and other critical components for the down hole oil and gas market. Our proprietary coatings and heat treatment protect customer-supplied components such as mandrels, fishing tools, and conveyors in oil and gas, mining, power generation, and plastics industries.  

What will you do? Your day to day success is determined by your ability to:

• Maintain a safe working environment and promote health and safety awareness.
• Pick order, assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and provide shipping instructions.
• Sort and place materials or items on shelves according to inventory procedures.
• Correctly package orders to ensure no damage occurs during transit.
• Ensure all scribing, packaging, labelling, and documents are correct.
• Assists in a variety of functions (ex.empty chip bins) and manual labor tasks as needed.
• Load and unload shipments, daily inspection and ensure proper shut down at end of shift.
• Receiving products and verifying quantities against suppliers packing slip.
• Ensure all incoming and outgoing deliveries have appropriate documents.
• Assemble components and ensure components are placed in the correct order following procedures and drawings.
• Ensure warehouse maintains an acceptable organized standard.
• Assists in keeping building tidy, including maintenance of building inside and outside.
• Ensure equipment is functioning thoroughly and supplies are stocked as needed.
• Inform warehouse lead of any issues or nonconformities in the warehouse.
• Follow company procedures and guidelines.
• Participate in continuous process improvement.
• Perform other duties as required.

With Quality in mind, you also bring the following:

• Ability to lift medium to heavy loads.
• A valid forklift operator’s certification.
• Experience with data entry an asset.
• Willingness to learn a variety of tasks in all departments.
• Experience or training in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment.
• Ability to work in outdoor environment.
• Passion in delivering accuracy and quality as a priority
