Associate Customer Service Analyst

The Associate Customer Relations Analyst is directly accountable to provide Customer Service support to Timken Customers.

This role must drive our efforts to provide support to internal customers (Sales, Supply Chain, Finance) and ex-ternal customers (distribution customers, distributors and/or end users) and prospects to achieve business goals. 

Improving efficiency of Timken sales and support implementation of regional sales business plans and tactics. Be the first point of contact for customer(s) and teamwork with assigned sales engineer to facilitate mutual relations, communication. To provide complex customer service, problem solving and analyses to customers and sales engineers/managers and coordinate communication between customer service, sales engineers, manufacturing plants and other Timken departments.

As a Associate Customer Service Analyst you will:

  • Recording & processing orders and provide schedule and flag out potential issues.
  • Independently track orders and forecasts and take necessary actions to avoid or solve potential delivery problems and order book changes
  • Make sure specific customer requirements concerning service or orders are fulfilled or anticipated, make recommendations to update or improve existing procedures and processes.
  • Be responsible for availability and tracking.
  • Provide customer forecasting and competitor information database.
  • Gather and update customer related information: customer shipping calendars, packaging requirements etc.
  • Prepare requested customer and sales analyses and reports using available tools (CRM, SAP etc.)
  • Support SE in new business creating the orders in the system and providing follow up.
  • Make sure to receive customer POs approved.

Minimum qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in excel, SAP and CRM
