Senior Finance Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst works closely with Timken Europe – Finance Manager on tax related duties, as well as local compliance tasks. The position also supports the Tax Manager - Europe with monthly reporting for multiple entities and related on-going activities. 

Prepare monthly financial reporting / Analyze financial data:

• Review financial statements.
• Review reconciliations and returns prepared by third party service providers.
• Accounts reconciliations and analysis.
• Compliance to internal reporting and documentation procedures.

Perform tax filing requirements, and ensure local compliance:

• BCVA, Property tax, C3S, tax on cars, legal surveys, etc.
• Maintain/update VAT audit trail documentation "reliable audit trail"
• Computerized tax audit documentation maintenance (CFCI)

Tax Manager – Europe Support:

• Review European entities tax packages.
• Partner with European entities on tax related matters.
• Work with legal and tax professional partners.

Participate in audit processes:

• Maintain local procedures and ensure compliance with group policies and French regulations.
• Conduct and document tests and findings.

SAP FI Functionality Support: Internal Continuous Improvement, problem solving, testing activities, work closely with other departments – IT team, OTC, PTP, etc. 

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing ad hoc requests.
