- Create MPS
- Create work station production plan. Familiar with production capacity analyze; coordinate with production team to ensure that the plant meets the MPS accomplishment and SVOP target.
- Create direct material purchasing plan, outsourcing plan and responsible for the purchasing to ensure supply meets MPS demand and rationalize supplier production capacity utilization
- Balance supply and demand, plan and maintain WIP, work shop inventory to meet BP goals.
- Coordinate and deal with all related issues between Timken and Supplier, include sending reject parts back to suppliers, scrap and overdue orders.
- Make related payment request work or supplier related payment issue with the finance department related to the purchasing function. Keep related documents in archives
- Track suppliers’ capacity, lead-time and timely communication with planning team, finalize the best promise delivery date; assure production flow without production downtime.
- Manage all the material documentation and do corresponding records
- Stop any unsafe activity no matter it’s conducted by Timken associates, contractors, customers or any other visitors
- Report any EHS related nonconformance to company
- Refuse to work in unsafe way
- Comply with Chinese laws& regulations and TIMKEN EHS requirement
