Wazee Crane, a division of Timken Power Systems, is seeking a full-time Crane Painter/Shop Hand located in Broomfield, CO. The role of the Painter/Shop Hand is to paint newly manufactured overhead bridge cranes or any fabricated equipment. When not painting, this position handles the physical shipping and receiving of materials and equipment. This position also takes care of the general upkeeping of stock inventory, including but not limited to, steel, electrical components, and painting materials. This position reports into the Operations Manager.
Duties Include:
- Apply primers, topcoats and coatings to industrial equipment using standard spray equipment (conventional pot sprayer, air-assisted airless, and airless sprayers).
- Prepare surfaces and job areas: clean, mask, set up equipment, fans, and shields prior to coating application.
- Clean, maintain and troubleshoot spray equipment and keep the paint work area organized and safe.
- Apply markings and decals to industrial equipment.
- Label received materials and equipment with applicable job numbers.
- Manage materials and inventory - receive, restock/put away, track stock levels, perform weekly counts of high-use items, and communicate inventory needs to admin for reorder.
- Handle paint and job waste responsibly by disposing into correct containers and following waste procedures.
- Load/unload materials and operate material-handling equipment (10T–5T forklift, overhead cranes, scissor lift) to move materials and equipment.
- Perform other skilled or non-skilled duties as required.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of Previous industrial painting experience required.
- Takes direction well, ability to work independently and in a group.
- Flexible schedule, occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

Pay Range: $20.00/hr-$27.00/hr (commensurate with experience and education)
