Wazee Crane, a division of Timken Power Systems, is currently seeking a Crane Field Service Lead Technician for the Broomfield, Colorado site. The Crane Field Service Lead Technician will be responsible for on and off site management of a wide veriety of complex projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and budget, training personnel as needed, and being main point of contact for both customers and the company. This role will provide technical expertise and hands-on leadership to guide the service team in troubleshooting issues, optimizing repairs, and delivering exceptional results. The position reports directly to the Crane Field Service Manager.

Pay Range: $42.00/hr-$49.00/hr (commensurate with experience and education)
Essential Responsibilities:
- Supervise and act as the main point of contact for complex projects both on and off site.
- Lead a team of technicians, subcontractors, and other associates by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing technical, schedule, policy, and best practice guidance.
- Train technicians on crane maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and proper use of diagnostic tools.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect overhead cranes and hoists to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Conduct Tool Box Talks and safety meetings to reinforce policy compliance and best practices.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and detailed inspections on equipment.
- Identify mechanical or electrical issues, recommend repair solutions, and ensure timely completion.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams on repairs, safety concerns, and project status.
- Document service and installation activities by completing accurate forms, reports, and checklists.
- Follow all safety protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ Years overhead crane service experience.
- Advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge and mastery of applicable codes including but not limited to OSHA, NEC, CMAA, OSHA, and ASME.
- Journeyman or Master electrician license (preferred).
- Experience mentoring technicians, subcontractors, or trainees.
- Provide crane operator training to both internal and external customer.
