Our next success story begins with you. We are looking for an Technical Seller I for our plain bearing products as soon as possible.
Essential Responsibilities:
The position will be responsible for driving revenue growth for our Plain Bearing products across Brazil. This position is in São Paulo. This role involves direct and indirect management of key accounts, developing product competency, and improving business processes to support the scaling of the product lines.

- Executes on revenue growth including direct management of key accounts and indirect of key accounts through the utilization of GGB - Timken’s Management Sales Team.
- Responsible for being the plain bearings product specialist which includes but is not limited to the following: application targets, product features, design requirements, and take ownership of the technical and commercial relationship with customers in the assigned territory by delivering consistent expert technical support across the product portfolio.
- Build relationships with strategic customers and create key account plans to achieve territory targets. Enable and coach the Timken sales team in Brazil to grow plain bearings sales and support joint customer engagements.
- Improvement of business processes as integration of this product line scales over time. Direct involvement and feedback into key functional areas such as customer service, engineering, supply chain. Identify gaps in the current product offering and prioritize future product development opportunities, providing structured feedback to product management, engineering and marketing to enable roadmap decisions.
- Promotes the company’s bearing technology and innovative tribological solutions, leveraging technical acumen and value selling strategies.
- Responsible for business planning for assigned customer base, including development of account plans in alignment with strategic business priorities. Generate accurate forecasts and pipeline reports. Lead negotiations and develop pricing strategies while managing accounts to ensure alignment with account plans and strategic territory targets.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
- Partner with Timken Sales and with operations, business development, product management, and marketing to influence and align with the Timken & Plain Bearings Strategy.
Basic Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Experience in technical or industrial sales. Desired experience related to bearing sales.
- Proven mechanical aptitude to provide customers with technical support throughout the sale cycle.
- Possesses a growth-driven mindset with focus on identifying and engaging ideal customer profiles.
- Proficiency in tools such as CRM and Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English required (written and spoken). Spanish desired.
- A self-leader with initiative and strong bias to ethical action with integrity.
- Deep understanding of customer requirements and market dynamics.
- Travel is required as needed to customer support and to develop new opportunities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong networking, relationship-building, and time management skills.
- Must be able to collaborate and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
