We’re seeking a Communications & Events Coordinator who is organized, self-motivated, and eager to learn. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in supporting our branding, digital communications, trade show efforts, and sales initiatives. You’ll help ensure that our message is consistent, our presence is professional, and our activities run smoothly across all touchpoints.
While the role is grounded in coordination and follow-through, there’s also room for creative thinking, initiative, and fresh ideas— especially when it comes to content creation, campaign support, and community engagement.
This role supports our work in precision gearing and motion control technologies— helping promote the innovative components we design and manufacture for applications in robotics, aerospace, solar, industrial automation, and more. You’ll help bring visibility to technical products by making them clear, compelling, and accessible to the right audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Communications Support
- Create and schedule regular social media posts (2x/week) across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc
- Prepare and send email campaigns (2x/month) tailored to audience and industry
- Update and maintain website content to reflect current messaging, offerings, and industry standards
- Ensure consistency with brand guidelines across U.S. and China websites
- Monitor engagement across social and email platforms and summarize performance stats
Event & Tradeshow Coordination
- Research new trade show opportunities to increase product and brand visibility
- Maintain Cone Drive’s trade show profiles and listings on organizer websites
- Manage product display needs via the CEI system
- Pull and organize leads post-show for sales follow-up
- Coordinate registrations, travel logistics, and show materials
- Assist in development of new displays and event collateral
Brand & Internal Support
- Help develop white papers, case studies, and success stories
- Support advertising placement with industry affiliations (AGMA, AHTD, PTDA, A3, AEM)
- Track competitor advertising and surface new digital ad opportunities
- Maintain business card orders, marketing literature shipments, and swag requests
- Monitor the marketing inbox and route inquiries as needed
- Help grow Cone Drive’s visibility in the local community through sponsorships, partnerships, and outreach initiatives
Administrative, Budget & Sales Support
- Maintain and monitor the marketing department budget, including tracking expenditures and reconciling invoices
- Submit credit card expenses and check requests for vendors
- Manage ZoomInfo licenses and user access
- Prepare and distribute sales kits and promotional materials
- Provide monthly summaries and basic reporting on email and advertising performanc

Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Business Administration or related; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 7-10 years' administrative experience in events, customer service, marketing coordination, or similar roles
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and basic online tools
- Familiarity with email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), ZoomInfo, Canva, or the Adobe Suite is helpful but not required
