Purpose & Scope

 

The Senior Marketing Data Analyst plays a critical role in organizing and analyzing internal and external data to develop new and impactful marketing insights to increase revenue and profit. This critical position leads analytic projects, assigned by senior leadership targeted at developing new insights and understanding which can help with strategy and decision making. In addition, this position maintains, executes, and updates a number of key marketing and channel business processes. This fast-paced position will also engage cross functionally to support critical elements of our digital customer transformation strategy and develop / execute data analytics projects to support understanding, enhancing, and optimizing the digital customer experience.

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Leverage advanced educational background in database architecture and statistical analysis to lead and execute data analytics projects including:
    • Developing and organizing new SQL databases which link and structure multiple sources of internal and external data
    • Use advanced statistical methods and software solutions to help segment, understand, organize, model, and explain relationships and correlations within and across these data sets
    • Build data visualization tools using Power Bi to help summarize and highlight key insights gleaned from the data
  • Use segmentation and statistical insights to develop and organize potential opportunities across markets, products and channels which help senior leadership make better decisions
  • Build, execute and drive continuous improvement across key marketing and channel business processes
  • Support various analysis and data modeling projects associated with our digital customer transformation strategy
  • Use programing language skills in SQL, JMP, Excel Macro or similar to create automated routines and dashboards to streamline and standardize routine analytics work

 

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Statistics, Analytics, Information Technology or similar.
  • At least 2 years' experience in analytics, marketing, IT, statistics or similar. 

 

Technical/Functional Skills:

  • Proficient in, statistical analysis, Microsoft Office, SQL, Data Services, Power Bi, general database structure, and integration
  • Logical, process-oriented thinking
  • Strong analytical and process documentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to derive insight
  • Advanced data retrieval and manipulation skills
